BUILD A SCHOOL UPDATE

The building of The Gambia Reality Nursery School in Sanyang is coming along in leaps and bounds.The actual construction of the building is at about the halfway point. It is understandable that the building work has slowed down considerably during this month of Ramadan. It must be difficult enough to be doing such manual labour in that heat let alone to be working in that heat on an empty stomach. The builders and labourers have achieved so much in such a short space of time.
Lamin estimates that the school will be open for business November - December time. He has started the registration of the children who will be attending the school. We will be looking for sponsorship for these children. To sponsor a child it costs £15 per year.
