The roof is ready and waiting for Lamins return to The Gambia on 12th September. Upon his return the roof will be put in place and the school will be open for business at the start of the academic year at the beginning of October.
We now have nearly 100 children registered to start at the school in October.
Congratulations to Mariama Sanneh, the teacher at the school, for passing her entrance exam to college. She has now started her 3 year Early Child Development Studies course. Many Thanks is given to one of our supporters in Oxford who sponsored the cost of the whole course, this has given Mariama the career boost that she would never have had without their help. I’m sure that you all join me in wishing Mariama the best of luck with her studies.
